Yellow-breasted Boatbill

Machaerirhynchus flavivente

Small yellow flycatcher seen darting in the mid to upper parts of the rainforest. Sometimes you will glimpse them perched with tail cocked like a wren. As the name suggests, they have a broad, flat bill.

These little birds are seen all year round at Crater Lakes Rainforest Cottages.
