I braved the rain tonight and videoed the Orange-thighed Treefrog calling from the forest near the cottages. The mating call is a series of rising ‘waaarks’ ending in soft trills. The frogs form large, noisy choruses during summer breeding season which can be quite deafening.
Hah, I like how you can see the air transfer from his body into his neck and back again.

Hi Megan, I didn’t get too wet, I MacGyvered an umbrella to a tripod and huddled beneath. Unfortunately I was jointed by about a dozen leeches.
