I spent a pleasant hour at the pond this afternoon, checking out the birdlife that was around.

Finally just as I was leaving, a Spangled Drongo was a surprise visitor who had a long drink. It didn’t seem to care about me at all.
Many Eastern Spinebills zipped in and out, they were too quick for me on this occasion. They are fans on the splash bathing technique. I have some video from earlier this year of them, I will post it next week.
